B.Ed Professional Degree Program

By the Grace of Almighty GOD, the B.Ed. (1.5 Years) Program is being started for the first time in the history of the college this year. This program is designed for students who wish to pursue leadership roles at different levels within educational organizations. The candidates will learn to manage organizations and develop solutions to issues in the education field. They will be able to apply research skills in the classroom and institutions and will use modern approaches to education.

Admission Rules, Criteria & Procedure

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for admission to the B.Ed Professional Degree Program must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must possess MA / MSc or BS (16 Years of Education) from a recognized university.

  • Minimum 45% marks are required in the qualifying degree.

  • Admission shall be granted strictly according to the rules and regulations of the University of the Punjab and Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab.

  • Candidates from other universities must provide a Migration Certificate / NOC.

    • Admissions will be offered purely on merit.

    • Merit will be determined according to the University of the Punjab criteria, based on:

      • Academic qualifications

      • Percentage of marks

    • The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.

Admission Procedure

  • Obtain the Admission Form & Prospectus from the College Gate or Clerk Office during office hours.

  • Carefully fill in the admission form and attach all required documents.

  • Submit the completed form within the announced schedule.

  • Merit lists will be displayed on the college notice board and official platforms.

  • Selected candidates must deposit fees within the given time to confirm admission.

Required Documents

  • Applicants must submit attested copies of the following documents:

    • Matric Certificate & Result Card

    • Intermediate Certificate & Result Card

    • BA / BSc / BS / MA / MSc Degree & Transcripts

    • CNIC (Applicant)

    • Domicile (if required)

    • Character Certificate from last attended institution

    • Migration Certificate / NOC (for other universities)

    • Passport-size photographs (4)

Duration of Program

  • The B.Ed program is a 1.5-year full-time program, divided into three semesters.

  • Each semester includes at least 18 weeks of teaching and examinations.

Teaching Practice / Internship

  • Students must complete Teaching Practice / Project / Teaching Internship of 6 credit hours.

  • Final project selection will be made in consultation with the academic advisor.

  • Submission of a detailed written report is compulsory.

fee Structure

  • Fee will be charged strictly according to the University of the Punjab fee schedule.

  • Fee once deposited is non-refundable, except as per university rules.

Attendance & Discipline

  • Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory in lectures, teaching practice, and internships.

  • Students must follow all college rules, uniform policy, and code of conduct.

  • Any violation may result in disciplinary action.

Important Information

Admission does not guarantee degree completion unless all academic requirements are fulfilled.

    • The college reserves the right to cancel admission in case of incorrect information or documents.

    • All matters not covered here will be governed by University of the Punjab rules.
