The Department of English has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, literary scholarship, and intellectual development. Over the years, it has contributed significantly to the academic reputation of the college, producing graduates who have excelled in education, literature, media, civil services, and other professional fields. Our students have also earned literary recognition and awards at the Punjab level, which reflects the strength of our teaching and learning culture. Our department is supported by a team of nine highly qualified faculty members, including both male and female teachers, with the majority holding MPhil degrees and several PhD-qualified scholars. This blend of experience, academic depth, and dedication ensures quality teaching, effective mentoring, and a research-oriented learning environment. NOTE:

- The syllabus for only the first two semesters has been provided by the University of the Punjab.
- The syllabus for the remaining six semesters has not yet been provided and will be included as soon as it is notified by the University of the Punjab.
University of the Punjab Requirements (Non-Credit):
Every student must complete at least one non-credit extracurricular program (PLL) for a minimum of 4 semesters. Every student must complete an internship program of at least 9 weeks duration at any time after completion of the 4th semester (preferably during the summer).
